Hay-Adams is like our home hotel. Always nice to be back here and welcomed by the staff we have known for over 10 years.

Over ten years ago when Sage was starting out, this room (Top of the Hay) didn’t even exist. It was a semi-open roof top space with a tent but still with the million $$ view of The White House (G.W.Bush Presidency at the time).

Now Top of the Hay is one of the most elegant spaces in all of DC. It’s often hard to get the wedding ceremony started on time here because all the guests are out on the balcony enjoying the view and busy taking pictures.

You can see the glimpse of the White House AND the Washington Monument on the right side of Luke.

We’ve done hundreds and hundreds of weddings but have never seen the groom and guests dance even before the ceremony started. Thanks to the magic brought on by our singer, La Belle Musique, more people joined the dance.

As the New Year directs our attention to reflection and change, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and reflect on the change that has taken place here at Sage. My name is Sean Neidlinger and I am I one of the founding members of this elite musician’s collective. In May, I assumed leadership of our company, and have been so proud to work alongside our team of musicians that exemplify excellence and adaptability at every wedding and event. Negotiating the intricacies of performing for weddings, concerts, and events during this pandemic has proven challenging, but our team has consistently proven it is up to the challenge. While times change and obstacles present themselves, I couldn’t be prouder to lead this team through these difficulties with the same commitment we’ve had since our start: to provide the best musicians and best service to our beloved clients.
